Both on the mountain paths and on the paths of life, course and destination are often intertwined. One affects the other and then things change…

My contact with the woodcutters, in the dense mountain forests of the Rhodope Mountains, gave me the opportunity to change both my course and my destination. A photographic document of the life of these people inside the forest and outside it. A friendship that is born but also built every time I am there. An attempt to bring out their agony but also their love for life in the village and in the forest.
With the photographic lens as a medium, their moments bear witness to a life beyond the ordinary…
